Actually, she's got average skin.
I used some Photoshop skeelz to enhance her skin smoothness (without going so far it looks unnatural.

Yeah, Shirley, it was her request to shoot in front of a graffiti wall. I could have separated them better with my 50mm f/1.8, but we had no time at all on this session (I had literally 15 minutes to shoot by the time she arrived).

I don't use manual focus, Peta, but I DO use either the center spot or the right spot, and I routinely use their eyes as my focus targets.
So, yeah...zip it. :)

oh also....use manual focus man! or if you are not comfortable doing that - manually select your AF point to the right when u shoot vertical to ensure eyes are in focus. (tell me to zip it, if you already do so :)
