Well, maybe using a slow-sync flash would do the trick. As I said, I think the sky in the left shot is perfect in contrast to the sky in the shot on the right. The two different sky colors work together to delineate the two sides of the final composition. It's just that the darkened statue could use a little help. But a very low flash setting so it doesn't burn out any of the statue.

Thanks a lot for the great comment James, you are right...I didn't 'save' the camera's way between the two imagies and the second (left) is too dark for sure, perchaps that was because the apperture was auto and the bigger bright area (as I focus in smaller dark object) makes the camera use smaller apperture. I agree with the crop too, it looks beter I think, and I can add more cropped sky too! Really thanks a lot for the super critique, you gives me lots here!

Worthy composition. Well I do find that the statues in the left shot are a little too dark, the SKY is just right. The two different colors of sky provide a good counterpoint for the twin shots. Also, I feel compelled to crop some from the bottom.

John you misunderstood me,what I meant was for you to give an explanation of the technique you used,I wasn`t saying there was focusing problem. You are good a photographer for that.Sorry for the misunderstanding. Have a great weekend. Robbie

That's for sure...two heads are better that one...lol...even mine is half hahaha! I think we can find objects to 'connect', I remember a photo of a child hold the Piza's tower!!! Think that, perspective and the use of the best angle - point of view can give magic results!!!

Thanks a lot Robert for the kind comment... well I don't think the focus is a problem here, the statues are pretty big and so you simple put the object that you want in focus at the center of the image, tatch half way the shouter bottom so the camera focus on it automaticly and last tern the camera at the last position it was, so simple, my testing here has to do with the two statues in VERY different plases and I try to play with the perspective, to 'use' them so they looks like being togather...
