What surprises me is that no one comments on how the woman's coat is a perfect contrast to the blue - not just any person with just any color or style of coat would work - and this photo would be much less without her in it. The blue would be much less without her coat in it.
The lines especially the shadows work well to lead us in but that is a more generic consideration.

thatta boy, I think I've started a trend.LOL This looks like color neg.- give chrome a try, it's tricky with this kind of light but rewarding when you nail it.
