About Southern cross station is one of the two major stations in Melbournes CBD, it went through a major rebuild a few years back with a dramatic roof addded to the structure. this is three shots stitched together as well. all comments welcomed

Hi T it may be that i was a little off centre when i took the shots and the distortion is because of the three 17mm shots that i stitched together, i understand what you are saying it doesn't look flat, but none of the platforms do due to the wide angle and the perspective. Be good Mate talk soon cheers Jason

With these colors, that perspective and this so strange roof, your picture seems to move by itself ! great job !

Dear Jason, i'm not an expert in this kind of images, detail and colors are outstanding but it seems that the ground floor is not totally flat so symmetry is a bit strange but I can be wrong; take care my friend...jd

Very nice perspective. An impressive picture - really has a sense of scale. Nice work.

Jason, when I left Aus this hadn't been completed. Thanks for sharing. They've done a really good job of it! And so have you, with your photo :-)

Hi Paul thanks for your comment it was appreciated, there is no HD with this capture, I shot it RAW and realistically this is the colours that it came out. I could of put myself central but i would of been blocking a escalator, being a Saturday night at this station I would of been trampled by a thousand crazed AFL fans. Cheers Jason

Fantastic Jason. I think I'll most of us in Melbourne will know it as Spencer St Station forever.

This is a great stitching job and a perfect exposure. It looks HD (?) I do not know this station at all, and do not know if it would have been possible but would it have been possible to put yourself central over the platform rather than to the side. I think the symmetry would add to your composition, and the whole of the locomotive may have been included.

That said, the detail is amazing in here and I could spend hours just looking at theis wonderful scene.
