Nice work Paul!
I like the grainy effect.
Good job gettin tha guys to work with you.
I may need your assistance soon for a two man band here in town. I told them I would take some shots for their CD cover. I dont think I'll have a problem on the creative end but I'm sure I could use your technical support.

Hey, Thanks Muhammad! That's precisely the kind of mood I was going for. It's nice to get validation of my intent from another talented photographer.

It's just like looking back to band pics in early 90's. I like the mood of this photo. Congrats dude!!

Yes, John, this is a very popular band in San Antonio, and it seems like they're getting ready to grow to national popularity.

Very nicely done. I like the black and white capture which has a more direct feeling to it conveying the group's name. Take care...Brian

Even better......and the grain really kicks it up a notch. The guy in the light shirt and hat and the hands on hips guys both have more "cool" expressions on their faces. This one's it!

Thank you, Peta. :)
We had a lot of other (better) shots, but the dude on the right was acting 'goofy' in most of them.

I thought it was going to need a re-shoot, until the band's agent said they HAD to have some prints for consideration Wednesday (in the morning).

Yeah, especially when it's a bunch of DUDES, Jim.

Women have no problems with getting animated, but guys tend to stiffen up in front of a camera. There's only so many 'macho' poses a guy can conjure, ya know?

We did take some wacky shots, but in most of them, Damien, on the far right, was doing 'goofy faces' which sort of spun the mood into an unwanted direction. :(

Hey, THANKS Dave!
That's good to know, since you've obviously seen a lot of these. I really want to expand with other local bands, and now I have a finished gig in my port!

I like this shot better than the previous one but I'd bet the band likes the other one better :-). It's tough figuring out new ways to shoot bands - seems like everything's been done before. Nice work.

I like this one but the first one has a "Certain Something" that gives it an extra kick..... this would be good for the inside of the CD booklet....
