Kim, the only thing I did to the budding flower is dodge it just a bit since it was darker. Thought it would stand out just a bit more that way.

Wonderful job with the post-prod lighting... it really makes this image stand out from the rest. Looks like you are quite the flower enthusiast, or you know where to go to get wonderful shots! I like the framing, with the flowers everywhere, and the newly emerging flower slightly to the left. Did you colour the bud slightly to make it stand out more? If so, I think a little less yellow and a little more white would look a bit more natural.
Anyways, wonderful shot!

Bella foto. Forse manca un poco di luce ... ma l'effetto finale mi sembra piacevole anche perchè una margherita è più illuminata delle altre ed emerge dalla semi ombra. Bel titolo.

Actually the outer flowers were darkened slightly to improve the overall viewing. The brightness of the outer flowers just take the viewer out of the photo, away from the "new kid" peeking out from behind the others. This was taken in low light.

Personally I'm very fond of flower pictures. As I'm a new member here, there are not many of mine posted yet. I like the composition and the subject of your picture. But I think the overall picture is quite dark, except the two flowers in the centre. Did you highlight them?
