A very intresting tree, beautiful coloured and well composed. Going closer to the "obscene" part could still be better I supose.

no, I got exactly the opposite impression after cropping it (as I did before normally)... it seemed too much closed, artificial. to achieve the (mind the overdriven colors!) pop-art impression I decided to let the light in :)) maybe I'll convert it to b/w, what do you mean? many thanks for your long and accurate observations, ruxandra!

As usual it is wonderful what you see!!!
I have problems with the upper left corner, the light there shouldn't be...regarding the right part- the structure of the tree implies curves.. i would have given more space on the right, it seems to be cut out, and gives me the feeling of unbalanced..I have the curve of thee and curve of the shadow on the left and it seems there was something similar on the right...
