How come there is nobody on the beach? Well, it was blisteringly hot. Over to the right, out of view, there was a shady spot with a bar. That's where the people were.

The sand and chairs are overexposed. Exposure on the sky and water is well done though.
I don't like the way the beachline isn't quite parallel to the horizon, had you shifted your position a bit the symmetry would have been there.
