I like this one Michele....Like how you framed and composed him. For me the title makes the image. (Funny a) Good details and exposure. I remember the song to.
Also I like how you put your horizon. Not across the middle of the frame.
I think they must have shuffled your photos cause Im seeing a lot Id not seen before.

Hey Michlele this is just excellent all around!
The title is great and matches perfectly with the image! Looks almost like hes been out in the desert too! Poor guy looks plain tuckered out!!

Possibly Jan-- I mean the animals can't speak for themselves... BUT the odd part is that this ranch land they live on is on the corner of 2 major hyways....entering Otis from Salem and they are totally visual... I also know that someone dumps food off....but not how often... It wouldn't hurt me to report it tho- Thanks for the idea....

Definition of draft horse:
Draft horse -- A large, heavy and extra-strong category of horse. There are many different breeds of draft horses, such as Belgians and Percherons. They were originally developed for farm work, and while they are still used for that purpose by many Amish and Old-Order Mennonites, they are also used by non-Amish enthusiasts for recreational activities such as show hitches and pulls. The Clydesdales of Budweiser fame are also considered draft horses, but now you know that this isn’t because they pull wagons of draft beer.

Michele -- Just a thought: knowing little to nothing about horses, do you think this is a case that should be reported to the local ASPCA for investigation of possible animal abuse? The horse does not look properly cared for.

Thank YOU Jan- I know the landscapes and seacapes have got to get boring- altho they are my favorite - It's also good to try other things too-
Yeah these poor horses have no barn, and sometimes with heavy rains they are just standing in mudd- and wearing it like this guy--- I do see them running around a lot too- so they are well fed, but not groomed- and REALLY BIG...they have long hair at the bottom of their legs too... ( Is that like a draft horse?)

Michele -- I like the idea that the last several photos have focused on animals. This fellow looks like a working draft horse with a lot of strength. Not groomed well like perhaps he is neglected somewhat. Excellent way to show the tone and texture. Well done!

Cute story - I would do the exact same thing...maybe you´re my twin?*LOL*
Very nice clear photo where you´ve caught the size and expression well. Great angle and I really like being able to see a bit of the landscape in the BG. It gives a certain mood to the photo and a feeling of this horse as a part of nature and also needing to be strong to live there. Hard to explain. Good one!
