Hi Gregory,
It has indeed been fun watching your little girl grow into a young lady. Beautiful big smile she has and the eyes still shine!
Fantastic natural smile, glad to see she isn't afraid to smile with the braces...my daughter wouldn't! :)
Looks like you have some sort of reflector for her face to help light it up, have you ever used a gold disk type of reflector? They work good for me, open up the backlit face and add warmth at the same time.
Very nice and most pleasing portrait.

Great portrait and even strongly shadowed (looks like the sun was at her back but still the face viewed well. Perchaps the flash could be used here, it could helps even to the background and her face too but still about the technique the result is excellent.
