It is a common senario in india....in hindu relegious belive people use to do this...they tie up this red bangles and wish something and when they think there wish come true...they remove them form the tree... :)

Interesting well taken photo! Can you describe the theme of the photo? I like stories :)However i would have cropped the lower part of the picture by the bend.
