About What these are called. I saw them on one of my walks in a back yard. I could not get close for a detailed shot but using my zoom and resting the camera on a fence post I did the best I could. If you know what they are please tell me.

Thanks Brian. Wikepedia has a very good picture of it. Yes, I know it is not a sharp photo as I had to take it will full zoom and no tripod about 50 feet away. Even at that distance it was a very beautiful flower. Nice it is useful also Thanks again, Del.
