About A multiple exposure can also be used for just enhancing a photo but still retaining some natural look. This is a triple exposure which I think looks quite natural despite the fact that the individual frames are visible.

No, it is not really hard to remember. After some few shots one can have quite a good impression of the superposition of the separate takes. Of course it is always also a matter of luck too, especially when things move like the wavelets here. But the more you shoot the more you can tell what it will look like.

It does look even more abstract to me too, through the multiple exposure, but still it retains some kind of "reality" feel. Like something that could as well have been.
