It is great fun looking around the tidal pools here. You never know what you will find. Came across a small octupus one day but could'nt convince him to come out from under a rock. The Maori people here just pick them up out of the water and suck them out of the shell!!! Yuck!! Thanks Janet, Judy

Yes, we call it a sea urchin. They serve it at Sushi bars and it is called Uni. I personnal cant stand the taste or texture but Japanese people love them and so do some others. Your tide pools have so much more in them than the ones in California. Reminds me of Maui. Nice job !
