WOW!!!!! thanks! Well is that more sad? :-D The grave at greyscale adds more thoughs...and I sujest that as the sky was pretty clear...without dark..."heavy" clouds, the shot works better now...hehehe I cannot give more than 7...even that shot diserve it as the color version takes it... Excellent my friend...

After you have converted to grayscale, change back to RGB, then do any adjustments necessary. Any adjustments you make should be done using layers, you can then go back and readjust if it doesn't look right.

Thanks, Clive. I like the results you came up with. Just so I am clear, are you saying to convert this image BACK to RGB after taking it to the grayscale mode? Or just leave it in color in the first place? I usually don't take grayscales back to RGB unless I am going to do sepia.
Your curve adjustment seems spot on, though. I am still trying to learn correct curves adjustment technique, usually I go overboard.

Dave, the image looks a bit on the flat side (lacking in contrast). For the web this should be posted as an RGB image not in grayscale, this may account for why it appears flat.
I took the liberty of making an adjustment in Photoshop using the curve command and here is the result.

It's okay in B&W, Dave, but prefer the color version.:)
