I like the title - it reminds me of the movie "The Favour, the Watch, and the Very Big Fish" with Jeff Goldblum. But I seem to have a problem with lists that have fish in them. They always remind me of that movie.
That aside, this is one of those photos where you spend a lot of time trying to decide the story but realizing that it is either simpler or more complicated than you think.
I puzzled quite awhile over the reflections and I have concluded that the observer and the fish are inside and the scene is outside.

Ah! Wonderful photograph and a fabulous title. Yes, it does seem to be an interplay between things happening and not happening. I find it interesting and engaging -- unique and strangely beautiful as well.

Great light here. Interesting things all happening/not happening...the mood of the woman in the foreground...plus the fact that I was there during this shot. I have learned so much from this man, my friend, my mentor, and I never ever cease to be amazed that after shooting 10,000 rolls of film, he is just getting started.
