Nothing to be sorry, really. I don't dislike comparisons, Mahassa, and I am grateful that you did compare the images. What I dislike is comparisons/comments on the pure base of obvious sentimentality. But you do say here what hits you more than on the other one, which I can only agree with.
Indeed, this one I also find stronger. In general I could say that the clouds are best captured in lower focal distances and not in closer zooms, since this way the light is also captured strongly as does perspective and contour.

It seems that my unwillingness to do "feelings-photography" is the best way for such captures - so be it my punishment! ;-)
Seriously now, I only capture what I see, with the greatest possible distance to the subject.
