Very nice shot. Lovely capture of you and your daughter. I still remember as I had to teach my kids their first swimming lesson, but I have no foto of that. This si a image which will even see your grandkids.

Nice shot for a family album and I understand why it is so valuable to You. As a part of Your personal memory it is an unforgettable moment, however from my point of view the lighting is very bad. The hot spots on the noses prove that the shot was taken at around noon. It would also explain the narrow strained eyes fighting with abusive sun. Maybe a shaded part of this swiming pool would be better.
