About My Dad passed away in his sleep last night, and i wanted to put on a photo to honor him. He was 93 years young. I know he is now with my Mom.
I am not in Guatemala at this time, but he is. This was taken when i was there at Easter.

I love you Dad and will miss you.

Very nice image. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. But, he will always be with you. In thoughts, memories and great images like this. Who says a picture is worth a thousand words...for there are no words that can replace what a picture like this can bring to your heart. Congratulations for taking such a lovely picture of one of your best friends. Thank God you have a family that you love for many don't have even that and one day we will see them again. Cheers for now.

What a lovely tribute to your father Alison. I'm sorry for your loss, you've had a hard year in terms of loss, but it must be gratifying to know that he is with your mother again, they must be so happy to be angels in heaven...big hugs, Linda

A great shot of him, Alison, and a wonderful way to remember. Sorry for your loss, I also lost my Dad last January at age 93, but he lived a wonderfully long life.

So sorry for your loss. What a heartwarm dedication to your father that can´t help but bring tears to my eyes. What a wonderful man he was - I mean, I didn´t know him, but his personality really glows from him in this fine portrait. How lucky that you had him for so long, and also that he was blessed with such a long life. A good way to die for him which must be of great comfort to you. My own father died two years ago much too early in life in pains and with lots of concerns for his family.
Mourn, memorize and smile!
Warm wishes
Annemette
