About This is the cover to my photography book I just finished. It's suppose to be broken glass with each individual piece a different picture. Those versed in photoshop can appreciate the time it took to pick then place each picture into each selection! I think it came out pretty good and how I wanted it. It was nice to "write" a book with NO words what-so-ever~! It spans 4 countries, 7 years, and shows my progress as a photographer. You can see it on my web site itsjustlife.com

I made the cover by finding a shattered glass picture. Then applying certain filters to get the edges just right. I used the brush tool to make the lines more precise then selected each piece and pasted in a part of a different picture (feathered 5) over and over for each part. I applied a poster filter to the final composite to make it look like it was more cohesive over all. If you were wondering hahaha

That's a hell of a lot of work you've done there.. can only imagine the hours you've put into it,phew! it's a very interesting cover, and I think you really get the most out of it by viewing it from a bit of a distance. I'll be sure to have a look at your photobook.
Best regards,
Niclas
