Thanks a lot Anthony for the kind comment....well needs some time but that is not soooo difficult, one adjastment with Corel Photo Paint, after that lot of smert and blent (paint tools) and at the end some saturation, contrast.

Thanks for the info, John. I have never worked in Corel Photo Paint. Just in PS. So I pulled up my program and tried the program before your reply. I was lost. That is a whole new learning curve. I'll give it a go today and see if I can do any better.

I like this technique of yours very much, though.

Best wishes,
Dave

THanks a lot Glinda... only one and that is not a filter... at the adjastments the first one, after that ofcaurse as you will see) you need to do a lot work using the tools named smert and blent on the sooo grain textures to make the textures looks more...normal...some saturation and contrasts and that is all.

John Hatz John Hatz   {K:156973} 7/21/2007
THanks a lot Marcelo!

THanks a lot Nicole for the so kind comment!
The main idea is easy, needs only one adjastnent to have that tones and the 3D idea... after that lot of smert and blent...

John Hatz John Hatz   {K:156973} 7/21/2007
thanks a lot dear Dave for the kind comment!
Nop... no filters, just one adjastment on Corel Photo Paint 12 (the first in the adjast list) and after that lot of blent and smert work...that's all.. ahh yes, and some playing with saturation - contrast. Need some time but enjoying to do that a lot!

Thanks a lot dear Subjrajit for the so good and kind comment! WOW! You be on a city with the same population of my ...country! :-D Yea, that North West architecture style being at many places of the world...even that specific building hasn't people to live there for many years... empty...so pity...... anyway... thanks a ot again for the great comment.

John Hatz John Hatz   {K:156973} 7/21/2007
Thanks a lot Sylvia...most of the color - 3D texture effect becames from only one filer of Corel's program, the first one at the adjastments, after that the effect works well BUT it is VERY grain, much much more than you see here so need some blent and smeart work (on the paint tools) on the textures to get a softer resalt...especialy sky and some parts looks very ugly and needs lot of work there but belive me the result is nice... I use Corel Photo Paint 12...

Oh yeah, John, one of my favorite treatments by you. I really love the results of this and hope that one day you will kind of explain how it is done in Corel. Is it using various filters?

Excellent photo and post-processing.

Best wishes,
Dave

Dear John
Don't know how to express my feelings for this photo of yours...if I told you that if you had told me that you had taken this photo in Calcutta (my city) I could not have opposed you! Your city's traditional house looks so familiar to me!!!!!!!!!!!!! One day I'll send you a photo of a traditional house of ours, probably you won't be able to distinguish! Wonderful shot!!! You've a knack of architectural shots too, no doubt. Keep it up dear friend. 7
