Thank You, Jon, for the honest critique! This is one of the very few pictures I didn't crop, as I like it as it is. But the next time I'm in the zoo, I will try to get a little closer (the zoom of my tiny cam ain't that long)...
Good framing of the subject cat. I think that this photograph needs to be heavily cropped. While it may have been your intention to show the overall scene, I feel that the photograph is weakened by the inclusion of the other cats and the distracting backgrounds, and that you should have zoomed in closer or cropped them out.
