Kekekekeke (Japanese version of "lol") Here also. When I look at this I find myself shifting left and right and ducking down trying to see the rest. Point of note... the third major storm cell is over my house right now. 10:34 pm. Thunder is rattlin' the windows and sending deep "booms" kicking into the foundation. Gotta love summer storms.

It would have been cool to WITNESS the entire bolt, but what you have here makes for a much more interesting image. I just keep looking at it...

This shot tears my heart out. I wanted soooooooo much to see the entire bolt.... but then, just as you say. It is like a beautiful woman. Fully exposed leaves nothing to the imagination.

Great shot - the fact that you used the lightning as the back drop to the trees, verses using it as the subject is a nice change from the usual lightining photo.
Love this shot, great timing!
