The light is brilliant indeed, and I guess it even makes up for the lack of a dominant point of focus. Sharpness is an issue but you are aware of that (did you focus manually or was the camera in autofocus mode?). The second reed from the left is just touching the edge of a leaf there, so a lower point of view may have been more desirable, but that is only a minor thing. I'd suggest you crop a tiny slice off the right to get rid of the two spots near the top of the right edge.
