Yes... his elegant, sharp mind, but also...
His emotional reticence... he can't get close to people (other than his beloved Watson)
His sense of humour... he's always delivering killer one liners
His fallability... he requires morphine and cocaine on occasion
His impulsiveness... when he's searching for something his study becomes strewn with mountains of paper, much to the annoyance of the tireless housekeeper Mrs Hudson
I could go on and on...

LOL! I've just finished watching Sherlock Holmes on TV (Holmes is my hero of heroes, the coolest man that ever existed on this here planet, real or otherwise) and this could be one of his cases... The Artist Mannequin Murder Mystery'...
