About I cut a deep hole in my finger with a new very sharp knife, and as a true photographer I immediately went for my camera and took lots of photos instead of trying to stop it*LOL*
When I eventually tried to stop it from bleeding, it just went on and on for quite a while. Craziness;-)Can you see the eye that the blood is forming?

That is good to hear!
And no need to be "brave" in this way. Parachuting is only for the ones who love it - not something to do to overcome some fear. At least I think that is foolish.
Happy day to you:-)

Thank you so much dear Annemette for your concern. Luckily it was just a minor thing. No trace has been left.
You are very courageous, unlike me. I never tried to learn parachuting. I only watch the brave ones, if I happen to be on the spot :)
Take good care, dearest Annemette.

How we suffer for our art, eh?:-))Yes, when the day comes we´d batter make sure that someone leave our cameraes in our coffins for us just in case;-)

Oh, amazingly beautiful, dear Annemette, and excellent composition, as you were bleeding to death...lol! Now I KNOW you are the consumate photographer, as am I. My mother has said that I could be on my deathbed, but if I saw a good photo op, I would drag myself out to take it...hahaha! 7/7

And with that image floating in my mind, I bid you goodnight, dear Annemette. I am getting a sore finger from typing so much. Take care... Crow x

well, loving sweets I bet you that I would outrun even the most welltrained killersnails and reach the cookies first!

AHHHHH, so you've been keeping this gruesome photo back! With regards the rather nasty image of you with no arms, you'd have to train the killersnails to reach it for you and unscrew the lid. Trouble is they'd eat all the cookies before you got to eat any yourself. They have no concept of self-restraint, killersnails. Or so I've been told...

Constant medical updates...wait I´ll rush out to the bathroom and take my temperature!
Thanks it´s doing well now. It actually happend two months ago, but I just didn´t post the photo having so many! It didn´t look that good for a while, but I heal well:-)Anyway having lost the fingertip wouldn´t be a handicap compared to having no arms and thereby not being able to reach up for the cookiejar.

How's the finger? I want constant medical updates. How can I possibly go to Italy knowing that the most artistic digit in Denmark has suffered such a grievous wound?

Oh, I hope your eyes weren´t damaged for good! It can be so dangerous looking into the sun.
Did you also parachutejump yourself? I took a course once and parachutejumped which was a terrific experience. Going down through the sky as a bullet and then hang there like an eagle watching the landscape with tiny fields and the sea.
I hope accidents don´t happen to you much too often, Minoo.
Thanks again for your generous words that tend to make ME blush now - I suppose that we are at least two great blushers here at UF:-)
Have a fine evening dearest friend.

Oh so YOU are a vamp mmmmmmmmm better make some more bloody photos then WUAHAHAAAAAAAAAÅÅ. Now where did I come from?? Not good getting so distracted all of a sudden;-) I´m glad you can appreciate this craziness...well of course you do! No problem concerning the pain - it´s merely weakness leaving the body, and I was too fascinated by the blood to even notice that I had almost cut off the end of my finger. Just something for a vamp NAM NAM!

I am relieved dear Annemette, to hear that. How could ever anyone even imagine that such a gentle, sweet person to be a "self-mutilator". Never. The idea never even crossed my mind for one second. I was only teasing you, implicitly though.
At this end there is a crazy photographer, if you'd like to know. Once taking pictures of parachutists, accidentally I looked at the Sun through the camera and had to have my eyes treated and kept shut for a few days. And accidents like yours happen to me quite often, but I never have your imagination to take pictures. So, you are indeed a passionate and a true photgrapher. Plus you have a great sense of humor. Well, you have it all.
Take good care dear Annemette

What a perfect, perfect example of suffering for one's art! I LOVE THIS, Annemette. My favourite photo of yours for a while! It's simply a really strong image. I love the contrast between the swirl of tasty looking blood (yes, I'm a vampire) and the scratches in the sink. And the holes of the plughole look so graphic and striking when surrounded by BLoOd! Luverly luverlee blood! And your finger looks very sweet too. By the way, I'm sorry you cut your finger... but you're a Viking priestess with a reputation for toughness to keep up (can't have your killersnail army thinking you're a cissy), so you probably just shrugged and said 'WUAA HHAAA! 'tis but a scratch!' 7++++++ and a favourite.

;-) Indeed a lunatic sometimes, but a peaceful one. Well my finger wasn´t cut off, so I´ll live.
A true viking must be able to endure such minor casualties*LOL* Thanks for commenting, Sebastian:)

Oh no, you always express yourself very good, Minoo. I merely misunderstood the meaning which can be the downside to the written word. I was terrified by the mere thought of being considered as a "self-cutter".
I´ll surely never jeopardize my health for a photo...or will I??*LOL* No, I knew that it takes a lot of bloodloss before it gets dangerous. I´ll take care. Thanks for your gentle ways, Minoo:-)

Sorry, it is my poor way of expression that made your 'about ' look odd. I understood that you didn't cut yourself on purpose, but you let the precious blood run while you were busy taking pictures.
That is what I meant by 'dangerous'. Never mind me, my dear.
Please take good care of yourself :)

Yes, I can see the eye as well as the passion for photography! Such imagination and creativity can somethimes be dangerous, my dear Annemette. I very much hope that it is OK now. The photograph is excellent, without doubt, full of colors, with great composition.
Take care,
Minoo
