Dragi moj Urs :) You made my day with your ong and heartfelt replay :)
Yes , Srbija is very interesting even for me(and I'm born here and live here all my life)... and must say I;m nostalgic too not cause I'm old than the many beautiful old buildings and places in Belgrade must desapire in front of attack of transition and desire for money........
I try to keep all beautiful places in my heart and in my pictures:)
I'm very happy cause you love Beograd so much , but we must improve your Serbian....we must practice ...do you agree ?:)
Oh, nema problema, yes there were and still are many lovely places like this in Srbija! But those would rather be coffe shops then, like the "Cafe pitanje", f.e. (would not want to miss to ads a glass of "stari slive", there, then ...) :)
... One of the first things I had to learn at the "filoloski fakultet u Beogradu" was: "Kako se cuva tursku cafu", besides the "nema problema" of course, when I studied "Srpski jezik" there, decades ago ... :) And I always named it it "srpsku cafu" :)
... Not to speak about the many cozy, homely places in Zemun, at Vinograd, Dedinje, Oplenac, and, and, and, ... :)
Unfortunately, many of the to me lovely places in Belgrade disappeared, like the old cinema near the Union hotel, or the "Mars na Drinu" Restaurant. Well I am an old man, and therefor a little bit nostalgic, forgive me! ... :)
Best wishes na moj ljubi Beograda, Urs
(PS: Forgive me the grammatical errors, it's not only because I cannot write the different birds on the letters on this computer, it's also a bit because of "Ucio sam, ali nista sam naucio! :) )
This is a very warm, cozy, inviting image, Urs. I want to sit down and enjoy the tea, the atmosphere, and listen to someone play the instrument. I like the acessories on the wall (the doll, plate and instrument) - they give the viewer an additional impression of the people who live there. The right side of the tablecloth is a little bright, but that's a minor thing. -- Naomi
