Keith I'm just a couple of miles from this and when I left home the sky was wonderful with wispy ribbons of cloud that we photographers love.
The minute I got to the high crags the big clouds rolled in.
It's always the same, the Wall has it's own weather system you just have to take pot luck :)
What we need is a series of webcams down the Wall.

Beautiful landscape, with best use made of the mist and dim light. Looks timeless, I can imagine a Roman legion marching into frame in the distance.

First thing I did was put this in to my favorites. Now I can tell you that this is a wonderful shot. Love the composition. Perfect shot for the Moody Landscape Project.
