Wow! The front half of the grasshopped is simply perfect considering every possible aspect. The back half gets a bit too soft, and the patterns on its back legs are really too pity to not have been captired with the perfectnes of the front half. The background and the light are again perfect. They suggest exactly that sea of green where the grasshopper is at home.
A very nice macro!

Great shot, lol....a hairy grasshoper? :-D haha...great kind, not common one and with good focus on her face, I think it could be nice to get that using even smaller aperture as its rest body is also very interesting and I can ask for a wider focus but that is not something bad here, the photo is a very good macro with the rule of ...focus on the eyes in very good use.

Real nice macro, looks the close up lense really work well.
Sharpness (you can see the hairs on the head and back) and bokeh are great. The Fuji colours are always nice, sure narrows up the dof though. Nice shot Dave.

Great shot Dave.
Excellent details specially on the craneal aspect.
If you increase the F value to 10 or 11, you'll get details of the caudal aspect too.
However, I like the blurt on its legs and abdomen.
