It's a real close call, Ann, but I think I prefer this version to the colour one. On the plus side you've either cropped in slightly closer or done a little cloning around the edges, not sure which, but the result is a good one. Her freckles seem to stand out a little more which tends to make my eyes stay even longer around her eyes. Slightly on the downside, for me at least, that delightful wisp of hair down her neck is somehow not so obvious on my monitor. And you've lost that slight blemish on the lip, which I actually liked, but then I have a preference for portraits a la naturale compared to photoshop smoothed skin, so it's all subjective. It's an honour to make your friends list. Regards, Gary
