About This is the place where the people leave their bikes for a whole day during their work. They drive with unimaginable speed and carelessness through the streets of Zurich, mainly because at that time early in the morning there is not many transportation means available. So they "save" 10 minutes as they arrive earlier at the railway station to take the train to go to work. (If they could, they would use rockets to "save" some seconds more and to appear even earlier at the office like all "good boys and girls do".)

So the idea behind this image was to depict the long time that the bikes are just "waiting" - a parallel to the time that the owners are eager to waste by being compliant to that kind of nonsensical "rules" that propagated about the advantages of a life on the run. It seamed to me just empty time exactly because of the run.
