My Dear Louis! :)
I too have been absent. My health has not been the greatest for so long now! My elbow that I broke 2 months ago is still not healed. I am always tied up with doctors and specialist and x-ray appointments ... next will be physiotherapy. I cannot lift a camera yet.
I am happy you like this image, my friend, and am glad you are back uploading your magnificent images. I will look in your portfolio when I can. The pain relieving medication makes me feel like Iave cotton wool (or worse) in my head! Also it affects my vision. Already it is late and I know I should be in bed. I wanted to catch up, even if just for a short time with my friends here in UF.
Take care and I send you Warm Hugs and a Kiss! Aniko:)

It's OK Dave... I knew you knew, and I knew what you meant... You are kind.
I am running a doozy of a fever today! LOL!
The sun is bright and the warmish weather imitates Spring. I am out of bed only for a short time. My back aches if I stay in bed too long... I faint if I stand or walk around too long... lol... so here I am at the computer, looking for friends... and here you are...
Thank You!
Love and Hugs~ Ani :)

Hello my Dear Tatiana!
I am far from patient... but I do persist in creating... :)
Your kind comments are truly overly generous... what I have achieved here still falls short of what I was wishing for (in my mind/heart/eyes), yet I did not want to overwork the image. One must know when to say... "enough is enough"... and stop... and leave it alone.
Yes, you can use a film camera. Why not??? :) Expensive to find good film and good develop and print labs these days. One of favourites has just (days ago), closed its doors. Digital seems to be ruling the world. Even I am resorting to borrowing digital cameras from time to time, as I seek to find a lab that I trust with my films! They are rare and expensive to the point of absurdity! The operators are not as professional as the ones I have for many years, been used to, and I am not so satisfied with the "quality" of their work. I do hope you have better fortune in finding a good "outlet" with sensitive and artistic people to do justice to your amazing talents... for my dear, you have such great talent, I am in awe when I view your images!!!
You honour me highly... I am not a master of film photography. I am not a master of anything. However, i understand a reasonable amount about film and film cameras and would indeed be happy to give you any tips re these, and "things" that can be achieved... just ask! You have my e-mail address.
I wish you every joy and happiness is this new/old pursuit! :)
My cameras are OLD (like me), some from the 70s and some from 80s. I prefer total manual control over my cameras. Some semi-automatic ones are a burden to me... lol.. If a camera needs a battery in order to operate, it is already a hinderance to me, and I resent it... I know I am crazy! :)
Yes... also, I am with fever, so I ramble on like a lunatic.... I will get well... The spring fever is what I might have, along with a few germs!
My Frieend, thank you for making me smile and cry at the same time. There are days I feel I am a total failure and so "old hat" with my photographic and other art works...
Much Love and Bless Your Sweet Heart, my Friend~ Aniko :)

sorry, Ani, didn't make myself clear... I knew you weren't the model... you were the heart and soul of the work, the model is insignificant... merely your tool for expression.... feel better, dear.

Hello, dear Aniko! I've just been back and I'm really impressed by this work of yours. That's a piece of Art! An amazing work! I always wonder what a great amount of patience you have! You use film (two films in this case) and computer manipulation at the same time. And all your pictures look so...finished. Nothing to add, nothing to change. So perfect! I wonder if I'm able to use a film camera. It's coming soon and I'm excited and a bit scared. If I have questions about using a film, may I ask you? As I consider you a master of film photography, it will be an honour for me to get advice from you. See you. And best wishes, Tatiana

My Dear Srna!!!
What a joy to hear from you.
I have been in bed with (yet another) virus for over 30 hours, and needed to stretch my legs a bit and do something, before climbing back into my warm place to attempt sleep.
I have not been to work (and feel like a naughty school girl.... lol...) but thought I'd pop in here briefly.
And lo and behold! Here are my friends, with kind loving words, which bring my heart happiness and healing to my body.
I Love You~
Hugs~ Aniko :)

You're a sweety, Dave.
You know the model is not me... But do we not all put our own emotions into our art? Well, maybe not... I seem to in a lot of my work, though.
I think I know what you mean :)
Thank you Dave...

Hi Michele!
And Thank you my friend.
It's not a matter of being "advanced"... this is an old method that has, I guess, mostly fallen out of use/practise. The carnation you see in the model's hair is actually not in her hair in the shot of her. It is in a vase (round painted with flowers vase), and the slide "sandwiching" was done with the flower in vase slide sideways over the model's slide. She was wearing a black lace scarf, so that is part of the portrait part of the shot. I enjoyed seeing the colour of the painted floral vase peeping through and getting the actual flower appearing as though it is in the model's hair. Both slides are slightly underexposed in order to have made a reasonably balanced overall image.
I am so pleased you like this. I was not sure about posting it.
As for where have all the people gone? No idea! I for one, am usually overly busy/overly tired/ or at the moment, not in good health.
Surely things will pick up around here again soon! :)
See you when I am feeling a little less "frazzled"...
Hugs~ Aniko :)

Beautiful composite, Aniko! Your beauty comes through with this, speaking from your heart and showing your inner self... through this! (if that makes sense).
But I think you know what I mean.....

I love this beautiful photo art, dearest Aniko! I understand what you are saying in your 'about', however, to me the first impression of the image is just one of beauty and romance, like she has a partial veil of black Spanish lace.
