Thanks, Marcio... not the most colorful for a light painting but conditions were difficult.

You're welcome, Cap'n! You're right...most of today's cars do have a similar look.:)

Thanks, Shirley! I always did too.... but in my old age, I'm beginning to appreciate some things... not like today's cars that all look alike.

Always thought these were very ugly cars. Another interesting work of Captain Midnight, though.

Hi Dave, I found this article on the Tucker, if you are interested. They did produce a small amount of the cars. I think it was doomed from the start due to pressure from the established companys at the time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948_Tucker_Sedan

Yup, Andre. Can you imagine if that car from the 40s had actually made it into production? Would have changed the history of the auto industry. Darn, I can't for the life of me remember that name of it but there was a movie about a decade ago... know which one I'm talking about?? Oh, the Tucker... that's it.
Best wishes to you, Dave

Hi Dave, It's easy to forget how far ahead of their time Nash, Rambler, (AMC) were. Unfortunately, the rest of America wasn't ready for that kind of change at the time. Andre

Thanks, Andre. And I believe you are right. In this car's time, it was probably considered a "weird" looking car... today, they all look like little fat bubbles.
Best to you, Dave

Thank you, John... another hard shot becuas eof ambient light.... or I'd have done more painting with light. Was just too short on exposure time to do much more.
Best to you, Dave

Very nicely done Dave! I saw a perfectly restored one of these going down a major highway last week. They are definitely a quirky favourite of car restorers. I like the way you included all the extra old stuff around the surroundings in this one. In this case the extra "junk" improves the mood rather than distracts. Andre

Great that too...even old, ruined car, it's a great one and you get nice view at the interior too because of that lighting effect, great colors for a night shot too Dave!
