Yes, I have been away from UF for too long -- packing up my house and getting it ready for sale, which is an ordel and a half. But it's nice to find the time to reconnect. Hope all is well with you.

Love this one, Michele. Last fall I was on a "Gone to Seed" kick -- taking photos of everything I could find that had (gone to seed). This is really nice compositionally -- with so much more going on -- the plants, the dock, the bay, and the diffused light from the fog. Really well done.

John I had to delete the image with the silhoutte because it had some flaws ( very small ) BUT I knew they were there ...so now I have lost your kind and great comment my dear :(( I have appologize and have reposted the image so don't freak out when you ger your response returned -Okie doke ?

Thank You for your great critique and for viewing my image so thorouly...it gives me much support dear friend..
That is a bay behind so there is in-comming water and out-going water...sometimes deep enough for a boat but boats also get stuck in the mushy bay when the tide goes out :))

A nice place, that woody constractions are very nice and looks well under so cloudy day, always that weather works well on coastline photos, nice plants in foreground...looks like there is a river that ends there.

aaaahhh, now this is a very pleasing view and photograph, Michele Carlsen. Lovely view with great composition. And I love the muted light, too and the way the fog/haze tones down the background... Gotta give ya a 7 on this...
