Hi Mr Bose,
Thanks for your reply and I appreciate your work in PS. You are fairly close to what I wanted, only thing I need is litte more warmth on the grains. I can try changing selective color or change white balance a little to get what I am looking for.
Can you please share the workflow you have done. Did you select the birds using marqueue? That must have been painful task.

PS can work magic but alas,I'm not one such magician ! All I can suggest is use of fill flash on the spot and digital GND filter in PS.

Thanks Anindya.
Agreed about your point regarding the birds. Any sugession to fix the problem is welcome. In PS its difficult to marque the birds using free hand tool. I think there is a method of doing channel selection and mark the outlines. But I do not know the exact details how to do that. Do you know the technique?
Thanks Aurobindo

I used GND filter. Along with that smoke from cigerate I puffed from side to create the fog effect. These were at the site.
In Photoshop processing, I enhanced the colors selectively, adjusted the curve to increate contrast and shadows and light sharpening and framing.
Thanks for your comments Debu.
