A very good moment to shoot and also an unusual placing of the main actor on the scene, that is kept well separated from the main acor by very good selective DoF. The strong light creates hard contrasts that bring a sunny look and feel, but it also brought some questions. Some parts of the girl are overexposed, but still a good balance of lighting since otherwise the background could get too dark and her face too. They also seem to add much emphasis to that sunny look. A bit more contrast on her face would be also nice I guess.

Thanks Srna, my daughter has been “outdoors” fearful lately since a dragonfly incident the other day. This was a big step for her and of course the hat aided the bravery ;)
