most of the HDR photos i see look too artifical to my eyes,not this one ,i think that it's a matter of how much you push the limits.
in this photo you didnt lost the reality touch so that what made me love it.

Thanks, Jan. Yes, there is a big learning curve in HDR.It's taken me five days to really even break the surface of being comfortable with it. But it is a very cool program.

Very nice capture of the drama here- the sky and the gnarly tree are great, and the bright colors at the bottom add to the effect because they appear to be pushing light back upward.

Dave -- Super-duper, dramatic color and I believe the reclamation of 1 from 14 was well worth the effort. I have dabbled with HDR and never achieved satisfactory results; this inspires me to go back and try again.

into my favorites, these colors plus that wild...dead tree makes an amazing and very spooky in mood image, I love these emotions in photography, excellent image Dave!!!
