Your capture of the wonderfully done carving with the shadow in the background is very effective. I like the symmetry on the curves of the people and then the softness of the shadow as opposed to the harder material of the carving. It reminds me of the saying--There is nothing so strong as gentleness and nothing so gentle as true strength. I really like your image.

Martina, you are a very accomplished photographer and this photo is already a favorite because of the creative design and the emotion I feel in it. The color version is beautiful, but the sepia distills it. The image in the background actually comes to life because the shadow figures soften and expand and look more human.
I love it and your portfolio is amazing.
