About this is one of my first postings from the Antarctic trip. We just got off the ship yesterday and are overwhelmed with this fantastic experience.
One more thing this is the real color. I had to desaturate some images because it was almost unbelievable

Hi Tim. let me just say wonderful photo here. I cant believe the colour, but I do. It almost appears like a monochrome world down there except for the stunning blue in the water. Nicely framed as well. I do hope I have the chance to visit that place myself sometime.

Hi Debarshi,

Yes the colors are amazing. When it is cloudy it seems to bring out the blues to such a degree that I am tempted to desaturate them a bit because it looks so unreal

What a shot again. I used to think that the icebergs were flat white in texture. But this is such a lovely blue coloured one.

The colours here are just stunning! Amazing how everything else is black and white, except for that brilliant blue.

Hi Nicole,
It was fairly reasonable for the most part -5C - +5C. Much warmer then Canada right now. But if it was windy the windproof jackets came in handy as well as good face protection. You being the world traveler should not miss going there. You won't want to come home. Try to get onto the ship Polar Star as you get more landings and is very comfortable and is also a full ice breaker

Hi Sascha,
That is not a reflection, in fact it is the ice below the surface
