Hi Visar and many thanks for the nice and detailed comment. The pale tones are definitely due to the light of winter on that day - and I like such scenes colored this way very much too.

It reminds me of when we were crossing the street, and I told my son to 'give me your hand'. Well, he defiantly informed me, "I can hold my OWN hand." :)
It was a milestone moment for sure.

well Nick, of this composition i think it cannot be better set from where you took this shot. tones are also nice, somewhat pale they seem to me, but i think that's canon.
the decisive moment is really nicely captured.
