About Where do I start? Ok… that is not “SLAP” it is "8 Lap"… as in the watch’s ability to time some running stuff. This watch has been wiff me for years and years and years. Is it expensive? Heck no! Could I afford better??? Heck yes!!! But this is my watch. The loopy thingy that I slip the excess band bit under is broken. The tail of the band flops about as I do my daily business. There are scratches galore on the face and buttons. The crystal, the glass that covers the 'works'... is bashed and bruised and slashed... and I love my watch. The “DAY” counter is missing some tags. It reads “-U” but was in reality TU for Tuesday. The outer ring is rubbed naked… empty… I do believe that years and years ago I could use the outer ring to tell time in off-places like New Zealand, Norway, and Manchester. Now… it is just a rubbed-raw-ring… It is a Timex. 2 of the 2 buttons no longer work. There is a nice white scar on my left wrist just to the lower right of the image… another story, for another time… Memory/Stopwatch functions… no longer available. OH! I see the model is an “Ironman”… kekekekekekekekee… all about Jimmie, eh? I started this image by taking a shot of my watch when it read “4-4-4-4-4-“… and missed it by 2 seconds… I finish this comment by saying… I love my watch. It works most of the time… and not a single person in the world has ever asked me what brand it is… it keeps time… functional by design… simple by desire…. Messed up by time.

Did I tell you I love my watch?
Some watches yell and scream and shout, "LOOK AT ME! I AM VALUABLE!!!!" My watch says, "ssshhhhh...... the time is...."

I love my watch.

Yes, I do. Nathan (you remember Nathan?) told me a few weeks ago that the number 1 use of cell phones is to check the time. I tried that... it looked incredibly stupid strapped to my wrist.
