Yes, it would be good to have snow for a change in January. The rain has kept things a bit cooler here but was 35C on sunday. Been pretty hot down in Melbourne at the tennis i think. When they get a 40C day in Perth, it takes 2 days to get to Adelaide, another day to Melbourne, another to Sydney, then goes out to sea. Dosnt come up to Brisbane. Keith

Right now in January it is summer time in Australia and New Zealand, while in Holland it is winter, and when it is July it will be your winter season? That is crazy! riny

Hi Riny. Yes it is summer. And for a change, we are getting plenty of rain which is good. We were running out and still are on strict restrictions. Thanks for the info. Pukeko is the New Zealand name for them. I think here, they are just water fowl. It was fasinating watching them work together. Regards. Keith
