Oh, I discovered the other day that his collection of negatives contains HUNDREDS of pages on precisely how they are to be exposed and developed. So, even someone as 'pure' as Ansel was manipulating the heck out of his captures. ;)
I like the contrasts in this image; did you boost it any, or was half dome just feeling sassy that day?

Shirley - do hope he does upload the color version - it almost pops off the page - the colors and light are incredible, and the wispy snow blowing off of the Half Dome almost gives you chills. LOL Jan
