Upper half - with all the details of the landscape - is amazing! The river part, less defined...but I bet the river was rushing gladly on its way, which movement you captured so well. Of course it is a marvellous landscape! YT

Hi Debra and thanks so much for your comment! I do enjoy the debate! I think that the river tonality is not over-exposed. It would have been nice (but not possible) if I could have suppressed some of the bright reflection on the water surface with a polarizer. However, the debate is a matter of style. I can imagine what you (or Tim Schumm) might have done with the image and attach my humble interpretation. Eb

Dear Eb: For some reason this image takes a while to load on my computer, but what that brought forward for me is that the upper half of the photo has beautiful tones and detail, and the lower half is over exposed and lacks the same detail. This is an awesome shot and I think if you darken the river and rocks it will be outstanding. Just my opinion, all the best Debra PS cant wait to see more from the 300.

Thanks, Dave! I do enjoy my D300 - but, it does not feel like a comfortable shoe, yet! Eb

Good composition and I like the subtle colours of the water, Eb! BTW, congrats on the new camera! Dave.
