Hi Stan ... a couple inches of snow just 2-300 feet higher is much snow here in Oregon and about 100 miles into the mountains is more snow than people can live with - they are trucking it out because houses are burried...BUT on the beach is rare and when it happens it doesn't last long - (usually))

Couple inches snow in Oregon in this time it's not big deal, but coule inches snow on Maui Hawaii, it's something strange,isn't.

We had a couple of inches a couple of different days, but then it rained and took it all away, for which I was thankful, even though it's pretty, because I didn't want to drive in it.:)))

Did You get snow too , like this ? It is very pretty to look at and to phtograph but too cold for me lately -brrrrrrrrrrr is right--

Lovely image Michele,excellent exposure and colors.
If you had composed it without the fence it would be Awesome.
The contrast range is very good too.
Please install Photoshop,I don`t see the point of trying to master a inferior program.You don`t have to use it exclusively until you feel comfortable with it,use your current program on a image until it`s complete then save it
and run it in Photoshop like this....
Image/Auto Levels/ok
Image/Auto Contrast/ok
I think you will see a improvement.

And yes my darling Michele, this was the first year I really did love the snow in all of its shapes and advantages ... before I just loved skiing and playing in snow in some mountain , now I do respect and love the winter too ! :)))

I should have moved the head and wiped off the snow better but in the center that pink is a FLAMINGO'S HEAD (fake plastic one of course ) hahaha!! Did you know that ? SILLY, I know .... my Mom has a million fake animals around outside but no need cause we have so many real ones - lol!!!
