I love how you have captured the wheel of water frozen in time. A definite winter feeling. Alison

I notice Jim has stomped all over ya pic and my first reacion was to say crop it and i thought i'd be gentle and ask if you had another shot.. ya see I like to crop in camera not in PS or the darkroom.. hence my original question.. a crop is a cool solution.. it juts means you cant make a full size print out of it.. so whether that is a show stopper or not i dont know.. I just cropped it in PS and it looks fine

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah... all the other's can talk.... in my not-important-opinion... ya just need to crop it a bit tighter on the top and bottom. Then again... what the hell do I know?????? I think we have been here before... dang it lass!!!! Ya didn't listen to me last time... about 18 months ago... Show less... expect more. Crop the hell out of it on top and bottom. Make them think and add... and look and add.... if ya show too much then too much is revealed...

Thanks Del. It was VERY cold there that day. The snow had melted enough I could drive in from Floyd, but when you stood there by the mill it was like being in a freezer. Thanks for commenting my friend. I've missed this.

Very nice image but makes me feel cold it looks so real. You may recall I am also from Virginia and so I always enjoy your shots of the Virginia scenery. Del.

Thanks Dave. I was just here looking and your comment arrived! Lol. The parkway closes when there is a lot of snow or ice. SO the snow had already melted by the time I was able to get up there. I'd LOVE to see it in snow also!

I like your composition, Rebecca, and it's an interesting shot with the coating of ice. It looks strange too, too see all that ice and no snow! Dave.

Thank you :) I was just looking at your last entry, the night scene on the water. It is superb! The reflections, the colors, the composition! I'm flattered you even stop to comment on mine.

Very nice image, Rebecca. Looks almost like a b&w, did you desaturate it a bit? Lots of ice forming on the structure there. wonderful composition. Cheers, Gary
