The lighting is all natural. I must admit, even though it was a small room the lighting was amazing!
The sand ceremony was the six coloured sands coming together, each one symbolizing my dad and my step-mother, her three sons, and me, coming together once my dad and her were married.
Well the reflections are a little much by way of distraction but I gather from the portfolio "Weddings" that you really couldn't get as much cotrol of the lighting as might have been best. That said, some of the can be easily cloned out (particularly the lt. blue top sand three. You'd need to keep some, maybe the better ones that reflect the windows . . . but I think it's a good still life (though a teensy, ennsy, tad bit too tight on the right side crop. A slight move of the flowers of shift in your position would have been a tad better (I think) . . . Good to see you steppin' out!
Great colours from the sand and I like the light (candles?) that can be seen behind the jars, but you have to be careful with glass, to avoid extra reflections, like those on the vase.
