Sorry, i didn't get to finish before. I was going to suggest maybe taking it a bit from the left angle so the lighting is leading the eyes into the photo instead of across the bottom.

OK, here it goes:
I think it is a nice view in reality, on the foto it does not work for me. It may improve if you have a resting point for you eyes, i.e. an obvious object of a regularity like a line of trees. The latter is here but not obvious enough.
