thanks so much my friend...
yea, you're right, that cable - rope - metalic bar isn't an element that makes me happy too...

hehe...yea, I see that, it's mostly because of the filters I use here, that always gives more 3D fealling to the textures and some times that against so blur elements (like the water here) looks oversharped, you're right...
best regards!

Very interesting piece of object, at first look I thought it was floating, maybe had you clone the metal bar , it would have created the illusion, but I don't think that was your purpose.
Very good detail;s seen, and the blurring of the background helps focusing the eye on the subject.
well done John..
regards..

Even in maroder technology, the attraction of the aesthetics lies. Sincerely Gerhard

John a beautiful angle and subject; for my taste is a bit oversharpened and overcontrast, but it's funny i say this when i have the tendency to do the same :) so do not take me into account too much...be well...txules

Impressive details and shines of the metal!. You have to apply this technique with more metal elements...It's awesome! +7

Hello John ...this is a very nice image as it has some 'RUST' haha!!

What I really like is the dof , and the clarity and focus of the fishing light as well as the reflection or light the top of the lamp gives off... great shot ! 7/7

Take care,
Michele~
