The biggest problem was the clouds I was shooting through. Just a look at the shape of the "shadow" shows more than just the earth's umbra. Those are clouds. If it wasn't for the 98-101% overcast skies, I would have used the LX200. The uncropped original isn't as off-center as you may think... see attached.

Taras...

Lotsa problems with this one... under-exposed is the biggest problem. Ineffective focal length... wider field of view with some foreground would have yielded a better image. Focus seems soft... or you had some kind of vibration issue... or both. Image is *way* off center. My skies were clouded during this most recent Lunar Eclipse... but compare to my shot from the Jan. 2000 event. Keep shootin'... experience is the best teacher !!!
